"I had'nt heard of Tyler Allen until I saw yard signs in two of my neighbor's yards when I was walking my dog. Shortly after that, I was invited to a reception for Tyler hosted by Ken Herndon. I was impressed by his vision for this community and his forthrightness. If he didn't have the answer to a question, he would say "I don't have an answer for that". Over the years, I have seen many politicians who would give answers just to give answers. Tyler is not like that. He is refreshingly honest and not glib. I worked in Harvey Sloane's first campaign for mayor and served in his administration. The opposition referred to him as "Hardly Known". "Hardley Known" won the election and was an outstanding mayor. Tyler reminds me of Harvey; he is a community and neighborhood activist who has some solid accomplishments; like Harvey. Tyler has a lot to offer and we need him. I know, if elected, he will join the ranks of our great mayors like Wyatt, Farnsley, Cowger, Burke, Armstrong, and Abramson"

"I first heard of Tyler when I found the 8664 group. What inspired me when Tyler decided to run for mayor was that he seemed to have a grasp on the infrastructure needs and by extension, the cultural needs of our city. I drive 45 minutes across town and on four different freeways to get to work each day. Tyler has a vision of a multi-modal town where everyone is connected in a way that helps to build community and not a sprawling car culture. I support Tyler Allen for mayor and you should to!!!"

"I'm supporting Tyler because as a Louisvillian I think he has the youth, energy and conviction to stare down some of the old guard who are holding this city and region back for their own gain. Specifically he seems to be willing to work with Indiana to build pressure on the East End bridge issue and on building a great downtown that would help both us and southern Indiana. And I'm supporting him because as a Republican, we'll never give the city better until the party get's the message to field better candidates. It's time for a Mayor who sees us through our potential to once again be a great city rather than just a nice little midwestern town. Best of luck Tyler in getting rid of the Abramson cheerleading squads while keeping the city moving forward. It'll be great to have a mayor who's had to make payroll! We need it!"

"Louisville has so much to offer and we need a mayor committed to revitalization of not just downtown, but all of the neighborhoods that make up this diverse city. I live in Old Louisville and have owned/operated a bed & breakfast for 6 years now. I average about 1000 guests per year. While most come with the well- known attractions on their itineraries, none (not ONE)had a tour of our grand "Old Louisville" in their plans. I am happy to tell you that each of those persons has gone home with a lovely impression of our city and almost all of them have said that Old Louisville was the highlight of their stay. They love the beauty and architecture of the neighborhood AND they feel like they discovered a 'secret'. All have stated that they wish there were more things to do in the neighborhood - shopping, tours, galleries, restaurants, etc. While focusing on the future of this great city, we mustn't forget its glorious past. Charleston and Savannah have thriving tourist industries and a reputation for amazing architecture. Frankly, Louisville has them both beat. I am hopeful that Tyler will dust off Louisville's crowning gem and shine it for the world to see. Old Louisville is worth flaunting."

"I support Tyler because he believes in our city and is willing to fight for what is right, not just what is easy or safe. We need Tyler's innovation, youthful perspective, and a love and respect for what great gifts our city already has."
– Maggie Harlow, 40205
"As a business owner, Tyler knows that jobs are the lifeblood of a city. His vision for the future of Louisville is driven by his knowledge that economic vitality is the foundation of any great city."
– Gary Gerdemann, 40059
"I want a Mayor that not only has big ideas for Louisville's future, but also one that has proven that he can organize our diverse community around those ideas. How could I endorse anyone but Tyler Allen?"
– Curtis Morrison, 40203
"I believe that Tyler will be the Mayor of -ALL- of Louisville... he would not ignore the Southwest border of Jefferson County. He would listen to the needs of Valley Station, West Point, and Fairdale with just as much consideration as he would the east end. I believe that we would finally get effective public transportation in our area...as it sits now we have to be routed through downtown, around the moon and back to get to Jefferson Mall. I believe Tyler would eliminate the waste... and bring reason to our area. Appoint responsible people as departmental directors and hold them accountable for their actions and spending. I believe Tyler would be fair to our public servants too... Fire, Police, Corrections and EMS. Bottom line... I BELIEVE IN TYLER!"
– Allen Prunty, 40272
"I moved to Louisville just over a year ago and immediately fell in love with the place I now call my home. I am also a downtown resident who strongly agrees with Mr. Allen's vision for what should be considered the heart of this city. The downtown area has so much untapped potential and we need an honest, insightful and hardworking leader with the passion for bringing the vision of a vibrant downtown to a reality for all those in Louisville."
– Elizabeth Browning, 40202
"While I don't believe any campaign can be based on a negative, I believe Tyler is the only candidate who will stand up to the manipulations of Riverfields and work to get the east end bridge built (and presumably the Harrod's Creek bridge reopened). On a positive note, I have been convinced for years that 8664 makes the greatest possible sense and Tyler's prosecution of it is a model of citizen activism. Tyler has youth, energy and a good speaking style allied to a sharp mind. I think he has a good mind and would be a formidable and articulate leader for all Louisvillians."
– Thomson Smillie, 40204
“I'm for Tyler Allen because I want this community headed by a young visionary who isn't afraid of looking beyond the easy answers. I want someone who isn't afraid to lead.”
– Ken Herndon, 40203
"I am looking for a mayor who puts vision and leadership ahead of politics and cheerleadership. I want a mayor who demonstrates pride in the city we've got but who also works for a greater city tomorrow. I want a mayor who honestly and forthrightly addresses Louisville's economic and transportation issues. And perhaps most importantly, I want an open-minded mayor who gives all of us a voice and never ignores any quarter. All of these traits are found in Tyler Allen."
– Steve Magruder, 40214
“Tyler Allen should be the next Mayor of Louisville because – of all the candidates – Tyler demonstrates the most passion and the clearest vision for what Louisville’s future should be. When I took the time to learn about issues, I came to realize that Tyler’s ideas for Louisville’s urban revitalization make sense. He wants to open Louisville’s central district and its historic riverfront to real business development, and make our downtown – the place that defines Louisville’s character – a place where people want to work and live. Tyler as mayor will mean real business growth and sustainability for Louisville, and that’s what I want my hometown to be all about.”
